Apple iPhone

Apple iPhone Review: The long awaited Apple iPhone has finally been announced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs at Macworld 2007 in San Francisco. The new product which is not just any ordinary cellphone, but a combination of three devices: cellphone, iPod and Internet communications gadget, is for sure going to create ripples in the technology world as has been with many other Apple products. The iPhone runs on Mac OS X and Mac fans are going to love it for sure. If you want to get your hands on the iPhone, you will have to wait until its official release to public in June 2007.
The iPhone boasts of a very trendy design–something that is characteristic of most Apple products. Further, the iPhone has only the home button and nothing else for its controls. Almost all of the functions of the iPhone are controlled via the touch screen that is quite big at 3.5 inches for a hand held device. With its resolution of 320X480X160, images and video look crystal clear and crisp. In order to use the touch screen, would you use the stylus? No! The touch screen is near perfect and it can be
operated with perfect precision with fingers. Using the onscreen keyboard, typing email can be quite easy and simple. On the whole, the iPhone measures 4.5X2.4X0.46 inches and weighs 4.8 ounces. Quite needless to say, it won’t fit into your shirt pocket. However, the iPhone is much slimmer when compared with other products in the market like Motorola Q and Samsung Blackjack.
It is very difficult to get an exact measure of the iPhone’s music and video capabilities. These will be clear only when the iPhone is released in June 2007. However, the iPhone seems to be similar to Apple’s other hot product-the iPod. The iPhone outweighs the iPod in many regards. The iPhone’s 3.5 inch screen is an improvement over the iPod that has a 2.5 inch screen. This extra screen size should make viewing movies on the iPhone a much more enjoyable experience.
If we set apart the music and video capabilities of the iPhone and venture towards its other features, we are sure to be content with 2-megapixel camera and a photo management tool among other things. Running on Mac OS X, the iPhone also supports Google maps. A partnership with Yahoo will allow all iPhone customers to hook up with free push IMAP email. However, the greatest features of the iPhone lie in its sensors. Depending on the phone’s usage, the display changes automatically. When you bring the iPhone close to
your ear during a call, the light dims automatically and at the same time the touch screen also becomes off. Similarly, the screen can be toggled from the landscape to portrait orientation just by flipping it.
There are two versions of the Apple iPhone. The 4GB version costs $499 while the 8GB version costs $599. Both of these require a two year contract with Cingular - the iPhone’s sole carrier. Though the price is a bit high, the iPhone’s extreme features make it worth the money. The iPhone can be purchased at both Apple and Cingular stores sometime in the next June in the U.S. The iPhone’s full capabilities and whether the iPhone will live up to the mark, these questions will find suitable answers only after its release.

The Apple Iphone is a killer product. The design is a sure winner.Apple has made a bold move by banking on the touch screen for the Iphone which by the looks of it is already gaining popularity. While the 2MP camera may seem less it surely is enough if u ask me.
Also Apple has found a good way to promote their Mac OS by using it on the Iphone. It will surely help them win some consumers over .The recent news of EA mobile developing games for the IPhone will attract more developers to apple.
The release has brought upon us an era of digital integration.

Finally it’s finally here the Apple Iphone! I’ve been waiting for a phone like this for a while. Waiting for the Apple Iphone till June and purchasing it with a Cingular carrier and a 2 year plan is a bit of a turn off. But the price is very reasonable compared to other phone’s that display features similar to the Apple iPhone.
The 2.0 megapixels camera is a bid outdated with newer phones coming out so I’m not expecting much for its picture taking ability and video but the idea of combining a super smart cell phone plus an Ipod make me envy this the Apple Iphone.

I am not overly impressed with the Apple Iphone, but I am sure it will be very sucessful based on Apple’s sucessful marketing of the ipod.
The Iphone has features that have already been seen in other phones (eg, any PDA phone running a windows based operating system has done this for at least 2 years with Windows Media Player.)
i work in telecommunications in Australia and I am sure I will sell a lot of these phones when they come out, but I do not know whether I will get one myself.

The Apple iPhone looks like a really nice phone. I havent seen one yet, of course, but I have read about Apple iPhone online. I really like the idea of that big 3.5 inch screen. It’s nice to have a phone that is small, but you need to be able to see the screen. Plus the Apple iPhone screen is a touch screen! You never have to worry about grappling for that stylus which can be very unhandy.
I will probably wait for a while until the price drops, but I feel sure that I would like to own an Apple iPhone soon.

SO, the long awaited Apple Iphone is finally here. The Apple iPhone looks like a really nice phone. The apple iphone must be good since it operates on OS X Platform (Unix) whch is one of the most reliable OS’s in the world bearing in mind their is more open source apps/games/utilities , I think apple Iphone is going to be a better investment than any new nokia product on the market.
Plus the Apple iPhone screen is a touch screen, which makes it trendy and handy!!!
