Apple iPod Nano 4 GB, MA107LL/A

Apple iPod Nano MA107LL/A Review:
Apple’s standard iPod has already dominated the market. Apple’s new release, the iPod Nano Black MA107LL/A is sure to make its mark. The Apple iPod Nano is at the forefront of gadget design and technology. Its 4GB capacity and its thin body make it a real beauty. Additionally, its bright color screen gives a boost to the iPod’s photographic capabilities. Additional improvements make the iPod Nano the best mp3 player, at least for a few years. This release is set to replace the popular iPod Mini series. It ships in two colors: white and black and three versions with different capacities: 1GB, 2GB and 4GB.
Coming to the dimensions, the Apple iPod Nano measures 3.5X1.6X0.27 inches. Weighing 1.5 ounces it is quite light weight and will fit into your pocket comfortably. When compared with the product that it is replacing, it is about 62 percent smaller than the iPod Mini. The Apple iPod Nano is the first to boast of 4GB capacity. Other companies have released products similar to it, but they neither have the 4GB capacity nor do they compare with the Nano in terms of price. In the 4GB Nano, you can store up to 1,000 songs or 25,000 photos.
The navigation speed of the Apple iPod Nano is very fast. Generally, players that are based on hard drives pause every now and then. However, with the iPod Nano, you don’t have to pause and so browsing the music library is almost instantaneous. It takes about a second to load a photo thumbnail, but browsing through photos is very fast. You can transfer data at a very fast rate using the USB 2.0 port. The sound quality offered by the Nano is excellent. The included earbuds make a good music experience. It is reported that the Nano uses the same music chip as the earlier iPod Mini.
Coming to the battery life, since the Nano is a flash based player, the power consumption is way less than hard drive based models. Apple claims the battery to last for 14 hours but you can expect at least a decent 12 hours. The Nano can be charged using the USB. It takes about 1.5 hours to charge 80 percent of the battery’s total capacity. If you want to charge it fully, you have to wait around 3 hours. Nevertheless, the time that the nano takes to charge fully is less when compared with the iPod Mini.
With the Apple iPod Nano, it seems Apple has made the mark again. Though the capacity of the nano may turn off serious mp3 junkies, newbies will nevertheless love it. And if you need a trendy mp3 player, the Nano is definitely for you.
Design of Apple iPod Nano (4GB, black): The Apple iPod Nano is a design wonder at
3.5 by 1.6 by 0.27 inches and 1.5 ounces. The last two numbers are key–the thing is really thin. As we’ve said, it looks much smaller in person than in photos, and it truly fits anywhere, comfortably and sometimes invisibly. We’ve been told that the iPod Nano is 62 percent smaller than the product it’s replacing, the iPod Mini (see other Nano size comparisons). The Nano, in terms of MP3 design standards, changes everything. Now, the Creative Zen Micro looks fat, the iRiver H10 looks monstrous, and the Mini looks outdated. Of course, the others are microdrive-based players; the Nano is a flash-based player, the first to hit 4GB; a few companies came out with 2GB models earlier this year but priced them at much more than $200. The 4GB player holds about 1,000 songs or 25,000 photos, while the 2GB version holds about 500 tunes. The 1GB device, then, takes about 250 tracks.

The Ipod Nano would be recommended for those looking for a ultra thin music player which can also store a good amount of music. The Ipod Nano unlike the shuffle has a screen. The 4GB of space is plenty for music. The Ipod Nano also adds the ability to store and view photos supporting a range of popular formats.
Ipod Nano’s design does truly make other accessories look bigger and bulkier. Though small the device is sturdy however i would not want to exert too much force on it.
I would have to agree with the reviewer that it is much faster to access music stored on the Ipod Nano because of it being flash based.
I do prefer the white Ipod Nano.An ipod nano alongside an Imac would make a perfect picture shot. What i mean is that a white nano wont look out of place when placed alongside existing mac hardware.

Apple iPod Nano seems to be the thinnest mp3 player out there. It has all the features as a regular mp3 player. The current available colors for Apple iPod Nano aren’t very impressive but the white one seems decent enough.
Apple iPod Nano being so thin only bring me to conclusion like; very easy to break, lose etc… 4 GB of space on such a small device is very impressive giving the user allot of space to store their music and pictures (which is a feature available on the iPod Nano)
I wouldn’t get this Mp3 for myself because of the fast that it’s too thin for me, and I’m scared that my brute force might brake this device, but hey if you like thin device the Apple iPod Nano is for you!

I have the old Ipod Mini from a few years back and it still serves me well.
My girlfriend recently bought an Ipod and she was tossing up whether to by the Nano or the Shuffle.
She bought the nano because of the screen and the way the music was stored made it easier for her to pick the songs she wanted to listen to.

iPods are great and a lot of fun to have. The Apple iPod Nano MA107LL/A has a 4GB capacity that will allow you to carry around quite a lot of music with you. The Apple iPod Nano MA107LL/A is less than 4 inches long and very light weight. You will hardly even notice that it is in your pocket!
The Apple iPod Nano MA107LL/A is flash based so your batteries will last much longer between charges than with a lot of other mp3 players. I already own two mp3 players so it may be a while before I buy another one, but when I do I will definitely consider the Apple iPod Nano MA107LL/A.
